The process of endorsing an EASA class or type rating on the basis of an ICAO rating or type is a two-stage process: Initially, a class or type rating restricted to an ICAO third country. In a second phase, this restriction is lifted.

1) This form enables an EASA licence to be endorsed with a class or type rating restricted to an ICAO third country.

2) This form can also be used to lift the restriction of a class or type rating restricted to a third ICAO State. In this way, you obtain an EASA class or type rating.

The two processes described above can be carried out simultaneously.
